The Ministerial Fellowship Committee appoints the six Regional Sub-Committees on Candidacy. Each committee has on it four clergy members and three lay members serving 2 year terms, renewable to a total of eight years of service. Designated paid staff within the regions supports the RSCCs. One important function of the RSCC is to make early decisions regarding Candidacy Status. This function includes providing honest feedback to pre-candidates who are judged suitable for the ministry as well as to those who are not. A second function is to provide accurate information to potential candidates on the credentialing process, and offer opportunities for support, discernment and formation.

The Midwest RSCC includes the Prairie Star, Central Midwest, Heartland, and Ohio-Meadville Districts. Its administrator is Velna Kolodziej. Contact her through the District office.
